Who would guess that anyone cleans up the San Andreas Fault?! Well, the truth is, we do! Unfortunately, people can leave things behind when they are hiking or recreating in the wilderness. Sometimes they don't even realize they have left anything behind. Deserts can be windy areas and an unsuspecting motorist can open their car door to take a photo, and the next thing you know, a plastic grocery bag has blown out. We like to keep the areas we visit clean and pristine. We take pride in our local desert and want to showcase it in the best possible light.
