San Andreas Fault Tour guest photos!

Below are just a few of the photos our guests have sent us recently. These were taken on the San Andreas Fault Tour which is one of our more popular tours.

Mom and her two sons on the fault. This was a fun day because the boys finally got to see what the fault REALLY looked like up close and personal instead of boring diagrams in text books. Mom was happy about that!

Three lowly palm trees but boy do they have significance. In one year, each palm tree needs six football fields, one foot deep of water to survive. That means there is a lot of water right below these palm trees because their root system is not very deep at all. Can you guess why there is so much water right below these palm trees?

Two guests from Africa standing right on the fault!

The right vehicle for the job!

Giant crumbling sandstone boulders - knocked right off the top of the mountain by earthquakes!

Very rare "slickenside". We can take you here! You won't believe how this geological feature is created!!

Elite Guide, Bruce, checking for the infamous Chuckwallas!
