It's going to be a great season for California Wildflowers!!

Have you ever seen the wildflowers in bloom after a storm in the desert? The landscape comes alive. The hot, dry earth dotted sparsely with prairie grass and scrub becomes a carpet of amazing colors. California's deserts cover 25,000 square miles of southeastern California. Although they are the most southeastern geographic region of the state, they are part of the southwestern region of the United States. The low desert is located south of the high desert and its lower elevation (below sea level) results in warmer temperatures. This in turn leads to differing varieties of wildflowers between the low and high deserts. Our Joshua Tree Adventure will take you from the low desert up to the high desert allowing you the opportunity to see many different species of wildflowers!

Spring Blooming Periods

Lower Elevations: 1,000 – 3,000 feet

I have witnessed the 100 year bloome in Death valley NP, in 2005. I really think this will be the epitome of this event and anything Anza-Berrago will offer. Elite Land Tours will take you to the most remote places to see what no one has seen in one hundred years.
