Humboldt squid, first spotted last week, are being caught by sport fishermen by the hundreds here in Southern California and all the way up the coast to Washington. Many hopeful fishermen are booking fishing trips to try and catch some. Folks have reported 400 Giant Squid caught since Friday night.  Robert Woodbury, told the LA Times, " Book our Deep Sea Fishing Adventure and join in on the squid frenzy!
