The photo below was taken yesterday on our Joshua Tree Adventure Tour. The snow-covered mountain in the background is San Jacinto which is part of the Peninsular Mountain Range. Palm Springs sits right at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains. They rise 10,834 feet above sea level. Notice how green the Mojave Desert can be (especially the part where we take our guests).
