We always joke with folks that they need to see the San Andreas Fault before it is gone! With all the earthquakes we have had recently, many people believe the "BIG ONE" is coming soon. And by the "BIG ONE", they mean the 7.5 to 8.0 earthquake on the San Andreas Fault. That is the approximate magnitude seismologists estimate if an earthquake does occur along the southern strand of the fault.
