This is a funny video from our Falconry Educational Tour. The Falconer has to restrict the food intake of his birds so that they can hunt on a regular basis. (It is a very delicate balance that an experienced Falconer understands.) The hawk in the video does not want to hand over his meal. The Falconer will collect the kill so that it is not wasted. It will be frozen and used later to feed the hawk. When the hawk is molting, it cannot hunt so the food supply that is saved will come in handy.
