Long-Nosed Snake!

Long-nosed snakes are nocturnal inhabitants of dry prairies and deserts. They are burrowing snakes most often found crawling on roads at night after daytime temperatures drop. Long-nosed snakes feed mostly on lizards, accepting anoles, skinks, fence lizards and other easily available species. The one below was photographed on our Nocturnal Treasures Tour!
