The Roadrunner in the top photo had his eye on the nest in the bottom photo. The nest belongs to a Cactus Wren and is tucked neatly inside a Cholla Cactus. Look at all those spines! I don't think the Roadrunner would ever risk attacking that nest which is exactly why the Cactus Wren makes its home there. Nature at its best!
