Exploring life on the San Andreas Fault!

The San Andreas Fault is known for its geological importance. It shapes California by creating ridges, mountains, and valleys. But what many don't think about are the many species that make their home on the fault. The unusual geological formations allow many birds, animals, plants, insects, and reptiles to survive in a very harsh environment.
